I've got all the little kinks worked out of Windows 7. It's wonderful. MS should've just waited 2 years and released this instead of Vista, it's everything Vista was supposed to be.

What are the three best books you have ever read and what are the three worst? What made them so good or bad?

Favorites:

1. The Silmarillion, by Tolkien - Seriously, if you like LotR you NEED to read this. It's amazing. It's like the Bible, but with elves, dwarves, balrogs, and other cool shit. Not to mention, Melkor was way scarier and more metal than Sauron.

2. Lord of the Rings - Gonna count it as one, since that was Tolkien's original intent. No need to explain myself here.

3. The Communist Manifesto - I'd be lying if I didn't say this book changed the way I look at EVERYTHING.

Least Favorites (that I've actually read):

1. Great Expectations - I hate being forced to read things, and I really hate Victorian literature. This is both of those.

2. Jane Eyre - Stupid. Boring. Who cares?

3. My Antonia - We were forced to read some really boring stuff in my AP English classes. This one had one cool part with wolves, but other than that it was shite. All 3 of these books are from required high-school reading.

Dear Windows 7,

Stop updating my video card driver, the one I have installed is the right one and the one you keep installing makes my display not work.

It was me and Heather's first anniversary today. If the first year really is the hardest, then I've got a really easy and wonderful life ahead of me.

I really like this picture:

red

It's from when my dad first joined the fire department and my Aunt Charlotte came to visit from England. I had just been born I think. There's a whole lot of red going on... can you tell what part of the world my family came from?

Being reclusive and busy all the time has me listening to metal a lot more. Black Dahlia Murder and 3 Inches of Blood are touring together... in Europe. Lame.

COWBOYS!*

* The second half hasn't started yet, so if they blow it while I'm at work, know that I'm pissed off. If they don't blow it, pretend like the font is bigger.

Every day I wake up, I learn something, I read something, I hear something, I do something, something happens to me, or whatever that reaffirms and convinces me that Marx was right. Maybe people were right about me when I was a kid, that I was too dumb young and naive to be serious... but now that I've lived and learned on my own, I don't think there's anything in the world that's going to convince me that I'm not thinking and fighting the good fight. Fuck capitalism.

I have a 98 average in my EMT class right now. That's why I don't hang out. I still love you guys though. If you need me to save your life just gimme a call.

Heather just told me we might be able to go to this. Official Cowboys fan club members get 50% off, meaning it will be 35 dollars total for the both of us to hear the dallas symphony play the soundtrack while the movie is shown on that giant ass tv.

The Wind that Shakes the Barley is one of the best movies I've ever seen. It makes me cry every single time I watch it.

I miss all of my friends. No one calls me to hang out on a regular basis anymore... and when I do hang out, I feel really out of place. It's an awful feeling.
